ISLAND DEC finished an unlucky 1.6L 8^th in the Reg, and notably was 1000m to 1400m there. Sets up very well to sit back and finish over them. She wont be on her own looking to make a run, with BLAZING HARRY bringing good closing figures his past two. I think the filly has him covered but concede he is a good horse and he will be in the finish. COLOPHON will be forward and boxing on. Suited slightly back in trip. FLYING RANI is one at odds that can improve. A little inconsistent, but include in exotics.

Glaring figures from HERE TO SHOCK and GRINGOTTS coming into this, and the obvious for HERE TO SHOCK is going to be the weight, and then for GRINGOTTS, the barrier.

I’m not quite comfortable with HERE TO SHOCK at the trip either, so I have marked harshly. GRINGOTTS almost has no option bar to flop and look to run on.

All that being said, it is DETONATOR JACK that I believe is good value to them. Put a line through the Epsom run given his run in transit and if you work closely to his Winx Stakes and 7+ Stakes runs, he has to be around the mark. No idea what they do from the draw, however a big price to take that risk.

TAVI TIME is the best set up of the key chances, and with that I have marked him accordingly. He doesnt yet have the figures of the others, however trending the right way, here 3UP and I am forecasting a new peak.

SKY LAB has had plenty of work put into him, akin to last prep where he came out and won the Scone Cup, in what was a pretty solid field. He has to go in everything.
