BABY PARIS gets in really well at the weights in Set Weights and Penalty conditions and was simply too good for a very similar field last start in the Jungle Mist. Ran them along on a day it was tough to win from in front. With the same weights she looks hard to beat again.

THE BOSS LADY was attacking the line extremely well behind Baby Paris last start when getting clear air in the straight. Can settle closer to the speed over the 1400m and looks the main danger to Baby Paris.

AMBER GLIDE was well found in the market late last start and ran well considering she couldn’t fully wind up along the fence. Pike takes the ride and the drop back to 1400m suits.

LUVNWAR can be forgiven for last start when caught 3 wide no cover on a day where cover was needed. Every right to fade out and can bounce back 3UP.

Ascot R6 - 1200m Sir Ernest Lee-Steere Classic

LONDON’S IMAGE was a surprise winner 3 starts back when leading throughout over the 1400m at a good tempo, to then sit 3/4 wide no cover over 1200m two starts back to just get run down by Wind and The Lion and looked the winner with 150m to go 7 days back when trying to run them off their feet. Like the drop back in distance 7 days later and if she hasn’t had enough, will be running through the line strong.

SIR DREAMALOT looks to have found his best winning race this prep so far. Didn’t completely get clear running in the straight last start and now Brad Parnham jumps back in the saddle who has a good affiliation with the horse. Should lob in the one/one and be first to have a crack at running down London’s Image.

MAI ALOHA was desperately unlucky last start when never getting a run in the straight. Had plenty to give and would’ve finished much closer. Drawn awkward in barrier 11 and drops out but should find a back to follow into the straight.

WIND AND THE LION lived up to expectations last start when winning the Placid Ark over 1200m. Took every bit of the straight to run down the leaders and now steps to 1400m and up in weight to 59kgs. Can win again but prefer others.
