Canterbury R7 - 1200m Canterbury Sprint

Sticking with OUR KOBISON, who did seemingly have every possible back to BM grade last start and didn’t get the job done. Sets up much the same here, but does get the senior on and I believe the big tick is getting to 1200m again.

PEREILLE was clearly the biggest run out of the Razor Sharp, and what did grab me the most, was the yard commentary around fitness. He has had base fitness and holding condition all prep, yet still produced an enormous acceleration figure, only to be pipped the inside. They need to be running on, but no surprise to see him bomb them.

IOWNA MERC burst through to win the OUR KOBISON referenced race last start and produced a figure to boot. 1200m looks ok and only needs even luck to be finishing off again. TIME TO BOOGIE was only FUP there, but I do expect was quite forward for that. He will be there abouts, but I think that final 50-100m sees that 1L improvement required evident.

UNLEESHING is the rightful favourite, however pretty tight and I am more than happy to bet around.

LUXE ETERNAL is a runner I was very bullish on, on two occasions prior to being scratched at Canterbury and subsequently Randwick on Boxing Day. She ran a figure better than the favourite, UNLEESHING on debut, and the trial between runs aids confidence.

MANUSCRIPT gets the form franked with Dance To The Boom winning at Wyong on Tuesday. Using the same reference, LUXE ETERNAL trialled well behind that winner prior.

IDLE FLYER trialled very well recently, just needs a little luck from the sticky gate. OPAL FIELDS needs to find a length or capitalise on vulnerability in run.
