FELIX THE SCAT has not won since February 2023 and has a poor winning strike rate (1 from 15), however I loved how he moved in his trial, completely dominant in victory. he raced in strong company last prep and I think Gollan just may have unlocked this horse. He can lead or box seat, and with that, he is a very strong chance.

BETCHA THE CROWN looks to be in career best form, putting in two incredible efforts this preparation. Chased home solidly first-up before a strong win after being interfered early in the race. The figure was good. If he can begin well and use gate one, he is clearly the horse to beat in my mind.

BINDING is an interesting runner. First-up here off a Victorian campaign. He will likely lead, and did win well first-up last time in work at Sandown. He has not been seen at the trials, so worth monitoring the yard.
