I was bullish enough on ANGEL FUND to topple the short priced CONFESS OUR DREAMS in their last encounter. She all bar got there, and with a little more tempo, couple with a weight swing, I think she can go one better here.

MAD DARCEY burst through late and I don’t mind the step back to 1100m off that. Tempo to suit but likely gets that here. PRETTY TAVI has a solid level of ability, first start for Pilkington and has trialled well. MONTE KATE is going ok without winning, a little awkwardly placed from a map perspective. PASSEGGIATA every chance of trying to pop them, however I’m not sold on her so far this prep.

There is some value in ROARING ENGINE, who has no query seeing out the 2400m, with all of his peaks coming within the range. He wasnt overly disadvantaged caught on a limb last start given the slow fractions, however it took one with the softer more forward run to beat him. I am anticipating a more positive ride from the outside here.

MISTERKIPCHOGE has been racing like a step to this range would suit. Very consistent figures, and although likely having to flop, he should be finishing as well as any.

KADAVAR is one I have had time for this prep, and probably still think he has more to come. However, plain enough last start to mark harsher.

HIAWATHA has to step up in class but a good run resuming at 2000m, suggesting he will be on the mark here getting to 2400m now.

Rosehill R8 - 1800m FIVE DIAMONDS

KINGSWOOD has really clicked into gear post a stable change to Bedggood, stringing two very good wins together, progressing from a BM78 to winning the Coongy. That was not the form line I was thinking I would take, however I think you can add a bit to his figure there given the very sluggish tempo. I am comfortable with the drop to 1800m off that and he sets up too well to ignore.

TERRITORY EXPRESS launched home 2UP, narrowly missing IKNOWASTAR, who set a very good tempo. His acceleration off that tempo was the big kicker for me and you would have to think he takes all sorts of holding out.

FREEDOM RALLY ran 3^rd through the same race, and there was near equally as much merit in his performance. I think he has to go in everything, and if TE suffers is caught in traffic, he may be the one to capitalise.

ATTRITION completely outran my expectations in the Hill Stakes. He again sets up well, I do think possibly found out by the anticipated strong tempo.

RELENTLESS VOYAGER is a hard read, but I do think another that can be marked down on likely tempo. May find this a bit sharp.
