The top of the market is in order of last start figures in, topped by GRINGOTTS at 104.8, and prior to that a 106.4 in the Alan Brown. He will need to hit the middle of those again to be winning and it will take the same bomb ride from Berry from the outside to do such. I have penalised him into this, as I do foresee a tough run in transit.

The runner up, VIVY AIR has the superior set up and does meet GRINGOTTS 1.5kg better at the weights. She may have a wide path, but I do expect that is behind a wall. Trending up, and we may just see what she has promised to do (by her and the stable).

STEPARTY sets up plumb, coming off a strong Rupert Clarke run. No match for the top pair, however enough to take serious notice here. I have a niggle with TERRITORY EXPRESS, as I have him earmarked as a genuine 1400m horse. However, he is well placed in high pressure races as he gets out in trip. That strength should be noted. Despite the visual, it is generally a case of the top coming back to him, rather than him exploding over the top. Love the horse and likely gets the tempo again, so cannot omit in key chances.

Interested in the resuming LORD OF BISCAY, being gelded post his first prep in Australia and trialling up very well. Supported in his two Au starts, failing on both occasions. More to go on here, and collett on from the rails draw is a positive.

DISNECK went better than figures tell when resuming. If Headwall goes well/wins the previous, that will strengthen the form reference. STARMAN and IRON MAN come through the same race with the latter being the better performed. Not sure he lobs here, so will stick with STARMAN as a key hope, particularly with the soft set up.

THE NOVELIST is one of mine and will box on. Not a heck of a lot of pressure, so comfortable including in the top four.
