ALABAMA STATE has gone from strength to strength all prep, and stepping to Group quality doesn’t at all seem out of place, particularly here. Caught deep throughout last start, on pace at strong fractions. Had the audacity to box on off that, now with the low draw, Mcevoy back on, I expect he is the horse to beat.

ALTHOFF (Scratched) is the clear threat, having closed off in strong meet figures, given no hope given the way the race was run.

SNITZANOVA has some x factor, and whilst no knocks stepping up in trip, she was the beneficiary of a hot tempo. Progressive and certainly in the mix. TITANTIUM MISS, THE THREE HUNDRED and FRENCH RULER all other noteworthy mentions.

Fairly strong edition of The Hunter, with multiple up and coming types, coupled with a few handy seasoned runners at this level. COTEHELE resumes off an extended break, and that is my main query with him. However, neat trials leading in, hoof filler off, and leaning on his last FUP figure in the Alan Brown, where he flattened out nicely, just missing a form Cepheus. Like the set up here behind genuine speed.

ROYAL MERCHANT boxed on soundly enough in The Invitation with the race rating well. Belclare has gone on to frank that form in the Hot Danish.

Hard to omit the clear performed runner in the field, PRIVATE EYE, but I do think a little vulnerable with the big weight and the barrier.

BRIASA and FAR TOO EASY are really going to have to prove their inferred talent – not that they have shown what they can do, but given they are likely back or working in run, it will be some feat for them to get over these.
