SISTER DAAE was excellent against a soft tempo resuming, scratched on three occasions to land here. I think she is again victim to what unfolds in front of her, and the track may be against.

ALINEA was only fair behind Flying For Fun, although that runner has strengthened the form line.

ALLIRI is racing ok at a lower level, enough at least to be in the conversation here.

SWEET PROPOSAL has come up big odds, largely due to the well fancied CANDLEWICK, who is in for Saturday also. The form guide doesn’t say much about the trials, however SWEET PROPOSAL did plenty enough and I really like the 1400m kick off this time in.

JOYNER won well at Canterbury last start, but the race figures aren’t really there. Outside draw and up in trip enough to mark harsher.

CANDLEWICK was hit in betting, starting in the red, unable to quite real in the market second-elect. Obviously has ability, but Im willing to take on.
