We return to Caulfield this weekend, for the first time in seven months, with a very nice hand of runners. The Group 1 Tatts Tiara at Eagle Farm will take centre stage though, with the stable sending RUTHLESS DAME and SHE’S ALL CLASS into battle.

Mantua | J: Ben MelhamMantua pulled up well following his excellent debut run over the 1000m at Sandown, running to within half a length of a regarded stablemate that had the benefit of race experience. The run rated well, hitting the line having run the fastest last 200m of the race. We’ll look to be closer this time out, with only one turn to navigate from the Caulfield chute, presenting here as an EW prospect.

8. Nadal | J: Harry CoffeyNadal was slow away and covered ground in his debut run, but pleased late finding the line well behind Outback Miss, who he again meets here today as race favourite. From barrier 12 with Harry Coffey aboard, he’ll be ridden where he’s comfortable, hopefully with some cover, hitting the line hard.
