The weekend kicks off with Group 1 racing on Friday night but most eyes will be on Randwick where the stable has number of chances in the Group 1 events. Tis Invincible has an opportunity to stake her claim as a true star in the Flight Stakes, while Nugget will contend with the carpark draw in the Epsom Handicap.

3. Brave Mead | J: Mark ZahraDespite jumping slowly, we thought Brave Mead put in a pleasing performance first-up, with the form since being franked in last week’s Guineas Prelude. From that wide draw, we’ll be able to push forward, given the size of the field, where we’re likely to be in company with Esecutore and Coincide. We’ve elected to run here instead of Sydney next week, thinking he’ll be very hard to beat.
