3. The Art Of Flying | J: Ms Celine GaudrayThe Art Of Flying has returned from our NSW system, chasing the right combination of suitable race and softer conditions here. At the time of writing, we’re on a Soft 7 with potential race day showers to come, which he’ll need every bit of to show his best. He gets to the 1300m for the first time with Celine Gaudray to ride, claiming 3kgs. From barrier 7, we’ll look push forward to stalk our key danger in Ebony King. Our chances of reeling him in increase with the rain.

10. Tosen Snowfall | J: Ms Madison LloydTosen Snowfall steps out to the races for her second race start on a relatively quick turnaround, with Madison Lloyd’s claim affording her the 55kgs. Missing the kick on debut and being snagged back with cover, we were pleased to see her hit the line well, running inside horses. From an inside draw, she’ll likely sit in the back half of the field on the rail needing the gaps to open as they straighten.

6. Sacramento Joe | J: Ms Hannah EdgleySacramento Joe steps out for the stable for the first time after a four-month stint on the sidelines, in what is a trip well short of his ideal distance. From barrier 8, Hannah Edgley will look to have him midfield with cover before giving him room in the straight, and he'll hopefully be hitting the line well. They’re likely to be too sharp for him here.

8. Desiah | J: John AllenDesiah returns after an impressive first up win over 1200m, with no signs the additional 100m here will be a problem. John Allen retains the ride after giving her an excellent steer in that debut run. She has improved off that run, drawing a gate to get a great spot in transit, albeit will need a gap to open in the straight.

1. Boyszee | J: Ms Celine GaudrayAllotted with 59kg's following Celine Gaudray’s claim, Boyszee presents here fit and ready to fire after a strong run in higher class last start, where he refused to give up after being headed in the straight. From barrier 5, Celine will look to have him jump positively and take up a prominent spot in running with Mount Brilliant and Knightlaila in company. He’ll handle the going if the rain comes and is the class runner in the race.

3. Aquileon | J: Thomas StockdaleAquileon returns to the races after a month between runs, but with two hurdle trials under his belt. Scratched from Sunday due to the Heavy 10, Tom Stockdale will look to ride him where he is comfortable from barrier 6, likely to be midfield on the rail. We hope to see him hit the line well.

7. Wailua | J: Blake ShinnWailua returns here a month between runs, albeit with a hurdle trial to his name. A last start sixth of nine runners may not jump off the page but being left flat-footed back in the field off a slow tempo worked against him there. Up to 1800m with a more forgiving surface are ticks here, but from barrier 4, he’ll likely sit toward the tail inside runners, needing plenty of luck as they straighten. He’ll be better over further.

5. Union Gap | J: Dylan GibbonsReturns here second up, after a strong win at this track three weeks back. He led at every post that day, still hitting the line strongly, giving us every indication he’ll again relish stepping up to 2100m, with his runs at this trip in NZ originally drawing our attention to this son of Redwood. Dylan Gibbons retains the ride here and will look to jump positively and sit on pace with Made By Khan likely leading the field up. He looks to be an exciting prospect moving forward for those looking to get involved. Learn more here >
