Midweek Metropolitan racing heads to Ipswich this Wednesday, and the stable is well represented across the card. The stable has had good success at Ipswich of late, and will be looking to continue that with exciting youngster Boom Shot and promising galloper Kronenbourg, who will both be looking to go one better after finishing second last start.

She has shown good early speed at her trials and, if she can find a good position from the tricky gate, we expect her to be right in the finish.

2. A Call From Heaven | J: Ms Cejay GrahamA Call From Heaven is second up here after a very unlucky first up run at this track. Cejay Graham takes 3kg's off and the step up to 1350m, a distance where she has won all three of her races, puts her right in this. She will race close to the speed and if she can run up to her previous runs at this track and trip, we expect her to run in the top three.

8. Kinetic | J: Ben ThompsonKinetic is also second up after a solid run here a fortnight ago at the track and distance. She is a big, strong mare that will take a lot of benefit from that run. The blinkers go on here and, if she can get cover from the barrier, she has a great winning chance.

8. Prince Of Pop | J: Ryan MaloneyPrince Of Pop heads to the races for the second time, after an honest run at the track and trip here a fortnight ago. Ryan Maloney takes the ride from a good draw, he will race in the first few pairs, and natural improvement from his first up run puts him in good shape to run well against his own age here.

2. Kronenbourg | J: Ben ThompsonKronenbourg steps up to the 1666m after an eye-catching run over 1350m last start. Ben Thompson knows him well, and from barrier 3 will look to be midfield with cover. If he gets the right run early in the straight, we expect him to be very hard to beat.

4. Boom Shot | J: James OrmanBoom Shot backed up his terrific debut win with a nice run in a good race at Doomben second up. Jimmy Orman will be looking to find cover just worse than midfield, and if he can produce a similar finish to his first up run, he looks very well placed to go close again.

10. Moreton Bay | J: Ms Melea CastleMoreton Bay felt the pinch late in her first up run here a fortnight ago. She has a good second up record, and gets in with 51kg's thanks to Melea Castle’s claim. She will race on speed and be there a long way. Any rain around will enhance her chances massively.
