5. Able Seaman | J: Damien ThorntonAble Seaman is first-up for the preparation after finishing down the track on debut in December. He has had a jumpout and trial, and looks ready to head to the races and be competitive. Damien Thornton takes the ride, and he maps to get a nice run from barrier three. He should improve with this run but with even luck in running, he can be in the finish of a race like this.

9. Daring Diego | J: Ms Angela JonesDaring Diego is also first-up for the preparation here, after a trial and jumpout. He was very consistent last time in work, and he only needs to replicate those runs to be competitive first-up. He may be looking for a bit further, but he is going well enough to be in the finish.
