Devastating looks for back-to-back wins after a strong second-up win at Eagle Farm, over 1000m in the same grade of race three weeks ago. Jimmy Orman stays on board, and he has drawn to get a great run from the inside barrier. He has come back in terrific form, and we expect him to be very hard to beat again.

Blue Spinel heads back to Doomben, shooting for four straight wins. She was dominant stepping up to 1200m at Eagle Farm a month ago and the month between runs, back to 1050m, should suit her well. She has drawn a slightly tricky barrier with gate nine, but if Angela can find a midfield position with cover, she should be running on strongly. She looks to be one of the main dangers to Devastating.

Liquor resumes from a spell after winning two of her first three starts last preparation. Cejay Graham claims 2kg, and she will be looking to use her good gate speed to roll across from the wide barrier. She has trialled well leading into this, and we hope she can be competitive in a race like this.
