2. Kalends | J: Ben ThompsonKalends peaked on her run late, first-up over 1400m at Eagle Farm a fortnight ago. She should have taken plenty of improvement from that run, and the step up to the mile here should suit her well. She should be able to take up a forward position, and this looks like the right race for her to break her maiden in.

7. Power Flash | J: Ms Angela JonesPower Flash hit the line well when stepping up to 1400m at Eagle Farm two weeks ago. She is getting to her right distance now and she should be able to get a nice run from barrier two. If she can improve again off her last start she can be competitive, but we have the stablemate ahead of her here.
