6. Mighty | J: Ben ThompsonMighty couldn’t finish off as expected, after racing too keenly first-up from a wide barrier at Doomben three weeks ago. Her work since has been good, and she draws to get a kinder run in transit here. She should be able to find a position just behind the speed and if she settles better, she should be very strong through the line. She is certainly a stakes class filly, and we expect a more improved effort here.

10. Certainlycan | J: Tim ClarkCertainlycan was outstanding finishing third on debut in the Bill Carter Stakes at Doomben three weeks ago. She will take a lot of benefit from that and the way she ran through the line, the step up to 1300m should suit her well. She maps to get a great run from barrier three, and we expect her to be one of the main chances.
