RACE 2

Devastating is first-up for his preparation after a long spell. He won a trial at Doomben last Tuesday and this looks a nice race to kick him off in. Ryan Maloney should be able to put him in a nice position from the midfield barrier, and he should be very strong through the line. He should improve with the run, but he has the ability to be very competitive first-up in a race like this.

Northern Pride resumes after finishing off his last preparation in good form. He may find the 1000m a bit sharp, but he has had a jump out and trial to get ready for this. He will likely settle worse than midfield and we expect him to be hitting the line nicely.

Li’l Wonder makes her debut for the stable after winning a trial impressively at Doomben last week. She will appreciate getting over further, but this is a perfect race to start her preparation. She has good early speed and should be able to hold a position in the first few pairs, and should be very good through the line. She has the class to run very well first-up.
