RACE 1

Devastating heads back to the races after a solid third placing at Doomben a month ago. The space between runs should suit him well, and he has drawn the inside with Jimmy Orman to ride. He should be able to hold a forward position just off the likely leader Steady Ready. He has been racing in very consistent form and with the run he is going to get from the good gate, we expect him to be very strong through the line and take some beating.

Caesaris resumed with a nice win at this track and trip three weeks ago. The very consistent mare steps up in grade here, but has always shown good ability to be able to be competitive in races like this. Angela should be able to hold a position in the first few pairs, and have if she can improve off her first up run, there’s no reason why she wouldn’t measure up here.
