No More Lies makes her racing debut on Wednesday at Warwick Farm. She has had two very nice trials this time in. I think she will use the barrier to her advantage, and if she runs here like she did in her most recent trial, she will be more than competitive here.
DANGERS: 12. IN FLIGHT, 9. STAND ASIDE
Gilmore found them a bit sharp last start over the 1000m, and I think Wednesday’s race should be run at a more suitable tempo for her. Josh Parr knows this filly well, and they have been a winning combination previously this preparation, so I am hoping to see them back in the winners circle again this week.
DANGERS: 6. MARTIAL MUSIC, 8. EAGLE NEST
Arale has been running consistently this preparation. Her one fault is that she needs to lead or sit outside the leader, as she is not a mare that likes to be dictated to. As long as she can hold a forward spot, I think she should be running well here.
DANGERS: 1. AIR TO AIR, 2. AFRICAN DAISY
Growl is a new addition to the stable. I have been very pleased with his trials, and his work here at home since joining us. Having only one turn to navigate at Warwick Farm is probably enough to offset the wide draw. In his trials, he has been ridden quietly and has hit this line strongly, so we will likely adopt those tactics on race day. He had a long time off before joining the stable, so I am interested to see him under race conditions.
DANGERS: 6. TOCOMAH, 8. SO GOOD SO COOL
It’s a much smaller contingent for the stable this Saturday but hopefully we have a bit of luck. All the best to our connections.
A small team heads to Doomben this Saturday. Transatlantic aims to back up his impressive last start win in race five and Star Of Chaos takes on stablemate Brentwood in the last. Good luck to all connections! Gollan Racing Team
We’ll hope to keep the good times rolling and have a huge hand entered to do just that, headlined by ESTRIELLA in the Sunlight Classic, PRIDE OF JENNI doing battle in the Australian Cup, RUTHLESS DAME in the Emancipation, ASHRUN in the Tancred and ANOTHER WIL and BERKSHIRE SHADOW in the Doncaster Prelude. Good luck […]
